Our History
J.H.E. was originally part of Jack B. Harper company which began in 1963.
In the early 2000's, Jack B. Harper began performing traffic signalization work throughout Louisiana in addition to its already expansive list of roadway construction projects. In 2009, Jack B. Harper Electrical company was created and separated allowing it to focus primarily on highway electrical business, specifically the installation of traffic signals.
Today J.H.E.'s expertise has now grown to include design, installation and maintenance of signals, roadway lighting, decorative lighting, and Intelligent Transportation and fiber optic systems.
